Hyundai has been a strong brand in the Indian market. To strengthen company’s belief on delivering cars that are safer, high on quality and Durability, Hyundai now offers dual airbags as standard in models like Elite i20, i20 Active and the Fluidic Verna. Additionally, the company has introduced a ‘Phantom Black’ color option in Elite i20 along with more options like LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRL), projector headlamps and cornering lamps.
The Verna sedan from Hyundai comes in petrol and diesel options in two engine options – 1.6-litre and 1.4-litre. The Elite i20 on the other hand comes with a 1.2 litre 4-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.4-litre diesel engine. The i20 Active is powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa unit in petrol, while the diesel unit comes with a 1.4-litre U2 CRDi engine. The 2016 Verna also comes with 7” audio video navigation system with a shark fin antenna.
On the pricing aspect, there is no change for Elite i20 and the i20 Active. Whereas, the Verna’s new variant wise pricing for petrol goes as Base: Rs 7,61,875; S: Rs 876,875 (MT) and Rs 9,62,876 (AT); SX: Rs 9,46,875 (MT) and Rs 10,25,875 (AT); SX (O): Rs 10,49,375. As for diesel trims the pricing goes as Base: Rs 8,84,876; S: Rs 9,96,875 (MT) and Rs 10,82,876 (AT); SX: Rs 10,66,875 (MT); SX (O): Rs 11,89,375 (MT) and 12, 68, 376 (AT).
