Frost & Sullivan has awarded Hyundai Motor India Limited with a coveted title of ‘Indian Manufacturer of the Year – 2016’ at the India Manufacturing Excellence Awards 2016. The Korean automaker with a major manufacturing base in India was selected out of 93 entries on the basis of stringent assessment process by expert assessors which are based on functions in core and support areas that spanned over 3-4 days.

Currently, Hyundai is India’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter. The award was handed over by Mr. Aroop Zutshi, Global President & Managing Partner, Frost and Sullivan. The company currently has eleven car models across segments like – the Eon, i10, Grand i10, Elite i20, Active i20, Xcent, Verna, Creta, Elantra, Tucson and the Santa Fe.
