      Hyundai Launches i20 Diesel Model; Automatic in India

      The diesel model of Hyundai i20 is finally here! The company finally rolled out the diesel variant of its premium hatchback model i20 in India uses a DOHC, 16 Valve, Variable Timing Valve Train (VTVT) technology that ensures acceleration, smooth drivability, low emissions and optimum fuel mileage of 20 km/l on average. The new CRDi diesel engine of new Hyundai i20 is more powerful than the petrol engine delivering a power of 88bhp. The i20 Automatic Transmission (AT) has a 1.4L GAMMA petrol engine.

      After the launch of Hyundai i20 automatic, Hyundai became the first auto manufacturer to offer automatic option in all segments from compact to premium in its portfolio. Hyundai is also the second largest car manufacturer in India and the largest exporter of small cars from India. The i20 offers 6 airbags, rear disc brakes with ABS and EBD which are standard equipment on the diesel and the automatic variant.
