      Hyundai India unifies used car business under 'H-Promise'

      Used car business of Hyundai India has been merged under the brand name ‘H-Promise’ globally which was earlier known as ‘Hyundai Advantage’. The company claims that ‘H-Promise’ will suffice needs of the customers hunting for used cars.

      Addressing the occasion, Mr. B SSeo, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, said, ‘ Hyundai has a robust customer base and an intense network in the domestic market, we are elated to bring forth our used car business, H-Promise.’ He further said that H-Promise will be a merged brand that will proffer customer-oriented services and toil for customer satisfaction.

      Hyundai India has also revivified its used car website, customers can buy, sell and exchange cars online. The company has 335 dealers operating in 225 locations in the country. Under the H-Promise, company is offering lucrative schemes to the customers which includes Hyundai’s backed warranty for 12 months or 20,000kmswhichever comes first, two free services, certified by Hyundai, cars revamped with Hyundai Genuine parts and Non Accidental Cars (no structural damage).

      Used car market is booming in India, unlike the new car sales which has been sagging in the last few months, used car sales is surging. Last fiscal that concluded on March 31, 2014 witnessed upsurge in used car sales by 15%. Used car business mostly tempts young customers who chose buying a used car instead of buying a new car, first time buyers also opt for used cars over new cars as they get viable options which suit their pocket.
