      Hyundai India to roll-out 6 new car models by year 2013

      Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL), the largest car exporter in the Indian market, has announced to launch as many as six new car models in the Indian market over the period of next three years. The move has been taken in a bid to enhance its position in the Indian market. Moreover, the company will also invest Rs 200 crore in advertising and promotion of its products in the country, in next five years.

      Speaking to the reporters in the national capital, Hyundai India Director (Marketing and Sales) Arvind Saxena said, "Starting from this year, we are looking at launching two new models every year in next three years."

      Initially, the company will launch two new car models in the country, followed by another four new car models in succeeding two years.

      HMIL has become the official partner with ICC (International Cricket Council) and plans to intensify the promotion of its cars during the ICC World Cup 2011. The Cricket World-Cup is slated to be organized in the Indian subcontinent, starting from third week of this month. According to Mr. Saxena, "In the next five years we will spend roughly Rs 200 crore on campaigns across the board, including the partnership with ICC."
