With the recent launch of Grand i10, the company has yet again lived up to the expectations of customers in India. Since its unveiling to launch Grand i10 has generated a lot of buzz owing to its aggressive price and power packed features. Grand i10 is a typical example of how well Hyundai can manage to provide a car that is priced competitively and that too with best-in-class features. This clearly showcases the ability of Hyundai to retain its brand value in the country, which in turn is building a large base of loyal customers for the company. In Grand i10, Hyundai could have easily compromised on the quality of interiors and features thereby reducing costs, but the company did not felt the urge for doing such practice. Instead, it made a gem of a car like Grand i10 that is priced accordingly for the price sensitive Indian buyers.

The latest offering of Hyundai is equipped with a lot of safety and security features like immobiliser, central locking, fog lamps, dual airbags and Anti-locking Braking System (ABS). It must be noted that the availability of these features entirely depends on the different trim levels. Under the comfort and convenience department, the car never misses to impress even the staunchest critics owing to its best-in-class functionalities. The car gets rear air-conditioning vents, a feature that very hard to find in same segment hatchbacks of other companies. Others things worth mentioning here is push start/stop button functionality, tilt steering, electrically foldable and adjustable outside mirrors, rear parking sensors, dual tone interiors, steering mounted controls, keyless entry system and Bluetooth connectivity. In order extract maximum mileage, Grand i10 is also provided with a digital gear shift reminder that tells the best possible time for shifting gears.

In order to offer a low-priced diesel car, the company has developed a new 1.1-litre U2 diesel engine that produces a peak output of 70 bhp. Hyundai is claiming that this new developed diesel engine has an ability to give fuel efficiency of 24 kmpl, which is certified by ARAI. At present, Grand i10 is the least-priced diesel car for Hyundai to feature in India.

Besides to it, the petrol variant of Grand i10 is equipped with the 1.2-litre Kappa Dual VTVT engine that generates 81 bhp of power. Both the petrol and diesel variants are available in manual transmission options. For buying the base variant of Grand i10, buyers need to shell out Rs. 4.29 lakh while the top-spec variant is priced at Rs. 6.41 lakh (all figures are ex-showroom Delhi).

So with a powerful engine and best-in-class interiors, Grand i10 surely leads the charge for Hyundai in coming years and it would not be surprising if the car manages to achieve the top spot in the hatchback segment. With this model, Hyundai has definitely set a precedent for other car companies to follow in the market.
