After the launch of Hyundai Fluidic Verna automatic, Volkswagen Vento has been facing tough competition. Both these cars come in the same segment and are often compared in terms of their technical specifications, pricing and design. The new Fluidic Verna has been the top launch of Hyundai this year and is being considered as the upgrade version of the previous Verna. This car is available in both diesel as well as petrol variants in the domestic market. Basic petrol model is packed with a VTVT petrol engine, whereas the diesel variant is powered with a 1.4 litre CRDI engine. The VTVT engine produces a power of 107PS, while the diesel variant generates power of 90PS.

Hyundai has focused on the designing of the interiors and exteriors of the new Fluidic Verna. The front view and stylish body line makes it more aggressive and gives it a strong appeal. Its C-pillar gives it a sportier look and its 15 inch wheels provides it a more comfortable ride even on a bad road. Other features like side protectors, bumper protectors, rear under spoilers, trunk spoilers and backup sensors add to the stylish looks of this car. Overall, Hyundai Fluidic Verna has turned out as a perfect competitor for the other sedan cars in the market.

One of the strongest competitors of Hyundai Fluidic Verna, the Volkswagen Vento, has been recognised in the market as a luxurious sedan car. It also comes in two variants, namely 1.6 litre MPFI petrol engine and 1.6 litre CRDI diesel engine. The petrol variant comes with a 5-sped manual transmission or 6-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, the diesel variant comes with 5-speed manual transmission. Talking about the exteriors and interiors of the Volkswagen Vento, the Vento comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, a dashing front view, chrome front grille and electronic immobiliser, among others.

For the security of the driver and the passengers, the Volkswagen Vento comes with dual air-bags and an Anti-Lock Braking System equipped in it. One who is looking for the value for money, Verna is the car to be opted for. Looking at it from the driver's point of view, Vento should be the preferred choice. Although the pricing of the Vento is a bit more as compared to the Verna, but it suits up to the needs of an efficient drive. Being a German car, the Volkswagen Vento will always have a stand as German engineering, which is known for its strength and performance. The makers of this model also laid much stress in maintaining the luxurious look and not just sticking upon the engine's performance.

The major drawback of the Hyundai Verna is that it disappoints in the storage space of luggage and cabin height, whereas, the Vento has a proper space for luggage. Moreover, the technical excellence of the Vento makes it much more energetic than the Hyundai Verna. The availability of its automatic transmission ensures its credibility over the Verna. Thus, it can be said that the German engineered Volkswagen Vento is a much better car than the Hyundai Fluidic Verna, but the pricing can be the determining factor.
