The price of this hatchback is between Rs. 2.93 lakh and Rs. 3.96 lakh. It is one of the arch rivals of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800. This car was launched in India back in 2011 with aggressive pricing and detailing. It is powered by an 814 cc petrol engine that is mated to a five speed manual gearbox. The maximum power output produced by this petrol engine is 55.2 bhp and peak torque is around 74.5 Nm. Furthermore, the vehicle's performance is boosted with iRDE Technology and Motor Driven Power Steering (MDPS). LPG variants of Eon are also available in the market for buyers.

      Eon boasts of a decent city and highway mileage. As per company claims, this hatchback can deliver a fuel efficiency of up to 21.1 kmpl. The vehicle flaunts intelligent design with roomy interiors to provide ample leg and head room for drivers and passengers. Exteriors are embellished with futuristic head lamps, micro roof antenna, integrated spoiler and stylish tail lamps and sporty yet trustworthy appeal. Interiors offer comfortable seating, large boot space and bucket type front seats. This hatchback comes with features like power windows, internally adjustable outside mirrors, keyless entry & centre locking and iPod and USB connectivity for ensuring complete convenience. Various safety aspects like remote keyless entry, driver airbag and reinforced body structure further make Eon a good deal to go for prospective customers.

      Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 hatchback has received a phenomenal response in the market and its sales are still going strong. Realising this fact, the auto maker has introduced several facelift versions of this passenger car with a retail price ranging between Rs. 2.45 lakh and Rs. 3.61 lakh. This car boasts of a wave front design with smooth long curves, a prominent wheel arch and wider lip. Sloping window lines with a swaying roof further enhance the appeal of this vehicle. The jewel-finish rear combination lamps merge well with a pleasant design on the back door. Petal shaped headlamps, stylish grille and bumper are highlights of the front façade.

      Interiors look fresh and spacious and are available in either brown or grey options. Extra head and shoulder room at the front and extra legroom at the back improve comfort levels while driving this hatchback. Quite noticeably, the auto company has chosen intelligently packaged slim doors in order to maximise interior passenger space. The centre console has enough space for a can, coins and 1-litre bottle. Other highlights of interiors are three-spoke steering wheel with silver accents and utility spaces on the dashboard.

      Alto 800 comes equipped with cable type gear shift mechanism for smooth gear shifting, Detent Pin Technology (DPT) for precise shifting, Diagonal Shift Assist (DSA) for easy shifting from 5th to 4th gear and flat torque curve to prevent frequent gear shifts. According to company claims, the petrol version of Alto 800 offers a mileage of up to 22.74 kmpl while CNG model gives 30.46 km/kg. To ensure a safer drive, this hatchback comes with a driver side air-bag (optional). High strength steel further safeguards against road hazards and injuries.
