The Hyundai Creta S+ diesel AT variant is now available at Rs 13.56 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The model was made live on Hyundai’s website 2 months ago but there had been no price till recently. It is a mid-level variant of the South Korean automaker’s C-segment SUV and is priced Rs 1.06 lakh lesser than the top-spec SX+ diesel AT variant.
The engine powering this model is a 1.6-litre four-cylinder unit producing 126bhp/256Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via six-speed AT. As compared to the SX model this loses out on features like the cruise control, touchscreen system, leather seats and voice controlled navigation package.
The car is now available for booking in all the major metro cities but commands a two month waiting period. It is priced at Kolkata: Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom Kolkata), Rs 14.27 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), Rs 13.78 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai) and Rs 13.76 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru).
It competes with the likes of the Renault Duster 110PS AMT variant which is priced at Rs 13.13 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
