      HSCI appoints new CEO and President, Mr. Hironori Kanayama

      Honda Motor Company Limited the reputed automobile giant has made changes in its existing management by appointing Mr. Hironori Kanayama as the new CEO and President of Honda Siel Cars India Limited (HSCI). He will take the charge with effect from 1st April 2012. After seeing a tough time due to natural disasters like flood in Thailand and tsunami in Japan, HSCI has decided to appoint a new CEO for the company. Mr. Takashi Nagai is a highly experienced man who is currently working with HSCI for a long time, is now retrieved by Honda Japan to work as Representative Director and President of Honda Logistics Inc.

      Mr. Kanayama currently holds the position of President in Honda Taiwan Motor Company and has been also a part of Honda Motor Company for around three decades. Mr. Kanayama took over the position of Mr. Takashi Nagai. Mr. Shigeru Yamazaki is also newly appointed Director and Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing department of the company. Mr. Yamazaki took over the position of Mr. Seki Inaba, who is also shifted to Japan to monitor the China Automobile Operations.

      He holds a strong experience of the automobile industry and has also spent phenomenal time in the auto market of China. In 1976, Mr. Kanayama has started his career at Honda Motor Company Limited, Japan and in September 2003 acquired the position of President at Honda Automobile (China) Company Limited. In October 2007, he was appointed as the General Manager in China Operation of Honda Motor Company Limited and from April 2009 to March 2011 was designated as the President in Guangqi Honda Automobile Company Limited, China.
