In this day and age when manufacturers are going all out to introduce brand new models, Honda India has decided to bring back one of its old products, and for good reasons. Thanks to a strong demand for the CB Unicorn, Honda has decided to reintroduce the motorcycle in the Indian market. The popular model will go on sale starting next month with ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 67,000.

Honda announced this relaunch during the 2016 Auto Expo where the 150cc CB Unicorn was unveiled along with a range of new products from the Japanese brand. The motorcycle continues to be powered by a single-cylinder engine which develops 13bhp and 13Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed transmission.

Previously Honda dropped the CB Unicorn from its line-up to make way for the CB Unicorn 160. While the latter has managed to sell in good numbers, it could never replicate the success of the original Unicorn. Now, with the reintroduction of the CB Unicorn and its supremely refined powertrain, Honda is hoping to attract a sizeable chunk of buyers in the hotly contested 150cc commuter motorcycle segment.
