Honda Cars India has reasons to celebrate as it starts the year with record sales in the country. Following close in the heels of the launch of the Honda Amaze (2013) and the next generation Honda City (January, 2014), HCIL recorded its highest ever monthly sales in the first month of the year. To be precise, the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese automobile manufacturer sold a total of 15,714 units in January, 2014, thus registering a massive growth of 188% as compared to the sale of just 5,451 units in the corresponding month last year. This growth in sales is reflective of the strong consumer response to both, the Honda Amaze and also the all new Honda City.
