      Educating children and young minds on road safety can indeed lead to better future. Honda Motorcycle and scooter India Pvt. Ltd. has undertaken a nobel cause of educating young minds on the importance of road safety. The road safety carnival was held at Dilli Haat, Pitampura area with popular animation characters like ‘Chutki’ and ‘Chhota Bheem’. The event kicked-off in the presence of Mr. Keita Muramatsu, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India and Mr. Y.S Guleria, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.

      Speaking more on the occasion Mr. Keita Muramatsu, said, “Safe riding is Honda’s priority worldwide and in India too. Promoting the concept of safe and fun-riding is paramount to Honda’s overall vision. The role of children as effective conscience-keepers within families is often underestimated. Conducting such activities with young minds will ensure a positive tilt towards the cause, building a strong foundation for future.” Adding to it Mr. Y.S Guleria said, “As a leading corporate citizen Honda understands its quintessential responsibility towards the society which goes beyond business. We are delighted to have associated with Chhota Bheem to help further spread Honda’s Road Safety message. The event today was a great success and we look forward to extending this initiative across many other India cities.”

      The event was honoured by the presence of over 1200 families that gathered at the Dilli Haat. Some of the popular activities at the event were cycling, the road safety drawing contest, a pledge wall, a photo opportunity and collection booth. A digital desk was also set-up at the venue to allow guest’s to upload their pictures on Facebook page. Adults also received some tips on correct riding postures. Post Delhi, the Honda’s drive shall move on to cities like Indore, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, and Nagpur.
