On Monday Honda announced that the facelift 2018 Jazz will be offered with the ‘Honda-Sensing’ technology and sport trim level. Honda recently unveiled the updates for their third generation 2018 Jazz, known as Honda Fit globally.

The cosmetic updates include a redesigned front and rear bumper, which makes the new Jazz look sportier hatch. The new Jazz will also come equipped with the Full-LED headlamps and daytime running lights as seen on 2017 Honda City.

The most value adding feature will be the ‘Honda Sensing’ technology. The technology is an intelligent ‘driver assist’ which alerts the driver through various indication such as Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW).

Honda also plans to introduce a Sport trim with the updated 2018 Jazz. To differentiate the standard model from the sport trim, bright orange accents on the front splitter, black 16-inch alloys and a three-strake rear diffuser will be offered in the sport trim. The sport trim will also get a chrome exhaust tip and a ‘Sport’ badge to flaunt.

This will be Honda Jazz’s third update since its launch. The updated Jazz is highly anticipated to hit the Indian shores early next year i.e it will reveal itself at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. When launched, the new Honda Jazz will continue its rivalry with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and the Volkswagen Polo.
