Just ahead of Honda Mobilio launch in India, it has been learnt that the India spec model will lack AVN system and mock wood panels seen in the dashboard and door panels. These features were included under an option pack that was supposed to be offered on the high end version of the MPV- ‘RS’. However, if media reports are to be believed this package has been dropped now. It is also being speculated that the interiors will share sharp resemblance with that of Amaze compact sedan. Interiors will be done in black and beige, rendering an upmarket look to the MPV, a 2-DIN audio system will also be integrated inside the cabin as seen in Amaze and Brio. Though, buyers who want to get mock wood panels inside their Mobilio still have a chance to get that done as Honda could offer it as an accessory as in the case of Amaze and Brio.
Slated to launch in India on July 23rd, the MPV is one of the highly anticipated vehicles in India. With Mobilio, Honda will also mark its foray in the MPV segment that had primarily been offering premium sedans and of late hatchbacks in India.
