Japanese car manufacturer Honda has further expanded the WR-V crossover lineup with the addition of Edge Edition in the country. The WR-V Edge Edition is available in petrol and diesel guise. Mechanically, it continues to be powered by existing engine options and is based on the mid-level S variant. The Edge Edition gets additional set of features over the standard version.
In terms of features, the WR-V Edge Edition gets five-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and a rear view camera display which has been integrated into the inside of rear-view mirror. Moreover, the vehicle also gets a Connect app as standard. Under the hood, the petrol version is powered by a 1.2-litre engine that generates 89bhp of power, while the diesel version gets a 1.5-litre engine that generates 99bhp of power. Both the engines come mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
The new Honda WR-V costs an additional Rs 23,000 over the regular S variant. Customers can even opt for white orchid pearl finish for an additional cost of Rs 4,000. The new addition is expected to further boost up overall sales for Honda this fiscal. The ex-showroom Delhi prices for the WR-V Edge Edition is as follows –
