The Honda Brio facelift was recently launched in Indonesia. The same model will be soon launched in our country as well.
Honda has tweaked the exterior and interior of the car. In terms of external appearance, it gets a new grille, larger air intakes, new bumpers and a chrome strip at the back of the car. The most welcome changes are inside the car that features a new dashboard. This is similar to the one in the new Amaze and upcoming BR-V. The interior sports a new infotainment system, automatic climate control with a revised unit for the air conditioning and new rectangular vents.
The facelifted Brio is powered by the same 1.2 litre four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine from its predecessor, but now produces 90bhp of power and 110Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to either a new CVT or a five-speed manual transmission.
The facelifted Brio was missing from Honda’s Auto Expo line-up this year, but we can expect it to be launched in India as well. We believe that Honda will introduce it for the Indian market after they are done launching the BR-V and the Accord this year.
