The engine options remain the same as before and there are no changes to the mechanicals. The exterior enhancements include subtle decals to distinguish it from the standard compact sedan. In addition to that, there is a 'Privilege Edition' emblem on the boot-lid. Inside, the seats now get Privilege Edition themed beige coloured covers. Honda has also added a centre arm rest for the driver.

The highlight of this new limited edition is the Digipad, which is a 17.7cm infotainment system with audio, video and navigation support. It features built-in satellite linked 3D Navigation, internal memory of 1.5GB and mirror link support for connecting your smartphone. It also provides internet access through a Wi-Fi receiver, which can be bought as an accessory. However, it cannot be paired with a rear camera and supports only parking sensors already included in the package.

Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd said, “Our endeavour has always been to offer best in class features to our customers and we are happy to offer the Privilege Edition of the Honda Amaze with Digipad for advanced infotainment. The new edition with its enhanced value is a compelling offer for our Amaze customers and is available as limited edition.”

The new Honda Amaze Privilege Edition is based on the S (O) manual trim of the Amaze and priced Rs 10,000 more than the standard car. So, other features like dual airbags, electric ORVMs, steering mounted controls, ABS in the diesel, driver seat height adjust, digital air-con etc. are carried over. The petrol model costs Rs 6,48,888 and the diesel retails at Rs 7,73,631 (both prices ex-showroom New Delhi).
