      Honda CR-V 2012 gets delayed due to shortage of parts

      Honda CR-V 2012, the much awaited Honda car in the Indian market, is expected to witness a delay of nearly a month to hit the Indian roads. The company is currently struggling with shortage of parts after the massive earthquake hit auto part production factories in Japan. As per media reports, the company has pushed the production of the current model of Honda CR-V by a month.

      The Honda CR-V 2012 is a redesigned version of the current CR-V model that it expected to be launched in the US market by June this year. Moreover, one more Honda car – Honda Civic 2012 – has got delayed due to insufficient supplies of parts.

      At present, North-America is one of the largest markets for Honda as it has been posting considerably high sales figures in that market. But due to this acute shortage in supply of parts the delivery of a range of vehicle has got affected including Honda CR-Z, Fit, Acura TSX, TSX Wagon, Civic Hybrid, Insight, and RL.

      In India, the company is in the final stage of launch of its small car Honda Brio, which is expected to hit the Indian roads by the last quarter of this year.
