Japanese bikemaker Honda has been known to deliver some of the finest motorbikes that have proven on track as well as public streets. This year motorcycle enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for the launch of CBR 650F sometime in the second half of the year. The bike is likely to emerge as a strong competitor against Kawasaki's Ninja 650R.
The upcoming bike is likely to be powered by 649 cc liquid-cooled, inline-four cylinder engine mated to a six-speed transmission that is capable of producing about 87 bhp of power with 62 Nm of torque. The bike may be brought in the country as a Complete Knock Down (CKD) unit. With planned localization, it is expected to be priced around Rs. 8 Lakhs.
