Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), the wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese company has revealed a brand new version of its most popular sportive tourer, CBR 250R that claims the trust of the high end bike enthusiasts in the Indian market.

The latest version of the motorcycle will hit the Indian market in a rare and stylish pearl heron blue colour and the engine will be featured with innovative attributes such as a symmetrical cylinder design, a piston rim enabling improved cooling and an intricate outer cylinder sleeve for better discharge of heat.

Mr. N K Rattan, Vice President (Sales, Marketing and Corporate Affairs), HMSI, was quoted saying that, "We have enhanced the aesthetic appeal of CBR 250R and introduced the new pearl heron blue tri-colour to cater to expectations of young Indians."

The premium bike will not possess any upgrade in terms of power and torque, which implies that the 2012 Honda CBR 250R will produce the same maximum power of 25 bhp with the same peak torque of 22.9 Nm as that of the CBR 250R launched in the year 2011.

The existing version of the powerful sports bike initially faced quality detriments that resulted in recalling of faulty models for error fixation and this has significantly directed the company towards effective quality control and management.

The new Honda CBR 250R will be priced in the range of Rs 1.45 lakhs to Rs 1.70 lakhs, which is higher by Rs. 1000 as compared to the existing available model and the bookings for the new version have already commenced while the deliveries at the HMSI dealerships will be lined up this month.
