The CBR 150R from the Japanese auto-giant Honda has been a hot-seller in the local market. The bike has been in the local market for about three years now and is quite popular among the younger biker lot in the country. Recent reports state a possibility of a face-lift in progress for the CBR 150R bike from the Honda's stable. The bike's front fascia is expected to receive some cosmetic upgrades in form of twin headlamps that is present with the CBR 250R that is sold in Thailand two wheeler market.

The Honda CBR 150R shall retain the 149.4 cc, four-stroke, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine that generates about 17.57 bhp of power at 10,500 rpm and peak torque output of about 12.66 Nm at 8,500 Rpm. The fairly powered DOHC head, four valved engine is mated to a six speed manual gearbox. The bike has received almost similar dynamics with slight tweaks here and there. The face-lifted version measures about 2,000 mm in length, 1,120 mm in height, 825 mm in width and a good ground clearance of about 190 mm.

The face-lifted CBR 150R has been designed for maximum comfort and convenience with mono-shock suspension for the rear wheel, whereas the front has received telescopic suspension. The bike is neither too heavy and weighs a comfortable 138 kgs. Honda has preferred being tight lipped about the new face-lift for the Indian market. A detailed report on exact specification and pricing may be revealed at a later date during an official announcement made by the Japanese Auto-giant sometime later.
