      Honda CB Unicorn 160 launched at Rs. 69,350

      Honda 2Wheelers India has launched the much-awaited CB Unicorn 160 at an event in Delhi. The prices for the new Unicorn 160 start at Rs. 69,350 and goes up to Rs. 74,414 for the CBS variant; prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

      The new Honda CB Unicorn is heavily inspired with the CX-01 concept, which was unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February. Getting the same Honda’s conventional design, the new Unicorn 160 has biking fairing, new headlamps units and tail lights with LED. It shares most of its features from the CB Trigger; however, there are few updates to keep things fresh in the market. The new CB Unicorn 160 is equipped with new muscular fuel tank with fuel cowl, new side panels, elongated seats, etc. The other elements include heel-toe gear shifter, new instrument panel, fully covered chain guard and new saree guard.

      The new Honda CB Unicorn 160 is propelled by a 163cc engine that churns out a maximum power output of 14.71PS and a peak torque of 14.61Nm. It is paired to a five-speed gearbox and claimed to attain a top speed of 106kmph. The model is claimed to return an impressive fuel economy of 62kmpl, thanks to its HET technology. It features the conventional telescopic front suspension and monoshock at the rear. The vehicle rides on 17-inch alloys which are covered with XX tyres.

      Competitor- Yamaha FZ S Version 2.0, TVS Apache RTR, Suzuki Gixxer and soon to be launched Hero Xtreme Sports.
