Japanese automobile giant Honda has gone ahead to take the curtains off its latest concept bike, which is a part of the leisure motorcycles segment. Known as the Bulldog, this ambitious bike is elaborately designed and the Japanese firm has put a lot of thinking faculties into its development. Also, the connection with dogs is not just confined to the name as Honda plans to market the Bulldog as bike that is a ‘Lovable Touring Partner’.

From the first look at its front, the Bulldog concept has great resemblance to the Honda Ruckus and someone might mistake it to be one too. However, the similarity ends there as the Bulldog concept and Honda Ruckus are poles apart in other aspects. Honda Bulldog is fitted with a 400 cc two cylinder powertrain and features 15-inch tyres. This concept bike has a low set seat, which is the main reason for its low-slung stance. The Bulldog concept gets a robust look due to the presence of blue crash guard-protected twin headlamps.

According to Honda, the Bulldog concept is a leisure motorcycle that suits those riders who love making frequent outdoor trips and enjoy travelling a lot. Storage spaces are present on sides of the fuel tank, adding both style and utility to the motorcycle. Honda showcased Bulldog at the 42nd edition of the Tokyo Motor Show at the weekend. Other vehicles that were showcased include SFA 150 concept, Africa Twin, RC213V and CRF250.
