According to the experts, the estimated cost of Honda Brio is higher than Chevrolet Beat, however it is expected to deliver better mileage than Beat. On the other hand, experts say that Toyota Etios Liva will dominate Honda Brio in the terms of safety features. When compared to Hyundai i20, Honda Brio wins in terms of price as well as fuel efficiency. Compared to the other similar hatchbacks in India, Honda Brio is speculated to be most comfortable 4 door hatchback for 5 passengers.

Honda developed Brio after decline in the sales of Jazz, and not repeating their mistakes the company is going to price Brio around Rs.4.5 lac to Rs.6 lac. This price structure will make Brio the cheapest Honda car in India. Like Jazz, Brio will be powered by the 1192cc , SOHC, i-VTEC petrol engine, which will generate maximum power of 89 bhp at 6200 rpm and maximum torque of 110 Nm at 4800 rpm. Honda Brio is expected to be available in four variants, including Honda Brio E, Honda Brio S, Honda Brio V and Honda Brio V AT.

Smaller than Maruti Swift, Honda Brio is a seen as a pretty car, which looks unique from the rear side. With its aerodynamic design, Honda badge on the grille and C-pillar meeting the front wheel arch line, the car looks aggressive. This car is expected to be loaded with advance safety features, including TCS (Traction Control System) and IVSP( Intelligent vehicle stability program). Seeing the increasing demand of small cars in Indian market, Honda Brio is expected to record high number of sales after launch.
