      Honda all set to build India-specific brand identity

      Marking a new beginning for itself, Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India Private Limited (HMSI) has announced its latest plans to enhance its presence through an India-specific brand identity. The new vehicles the company exhibited at Auto Expo 2012, Asia’s largest automobile show, are also part of the plan.

      The announcement was made at the Auto Expo, where HMSI said that it has borrowed Honda's international slogan, ‘The Power of Dreams’. The company showcased seven new products, namely Dream Yuga, CBR 150R, CB Shine, CBR 250R, Dio automatic scooter, VT 1300CX and CBR 1000RR Fireblade, at the Auto Expo 2012.

      Talking about the new branding, Honda said that it will increase the two-wheeler business in the country and help customers realise their dreams by augmenting its production and launching latest products at competitive prices. It will leverage on its expertise in researching, development and designing and also render best quality service to achieve its goals.

      Honda is also prepared to spread the idea of ‘The Power of Dreams' all over the nation. The company further said that, "A country where a billion people carry dreams in their hearts, the spirit of The Power of Dreams will be brought alive by Honda's India specific Brand Identity 'Sach Kardenge Sapne'.”

      The Auto Expo that began on 5th January, 2012 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi has attracted car and bike enthusiasts from all across the globe. To pull spectators towards its pavilion, HMSI has also put some of its legendary vehicles on display, such as RC212V and Dream D.
