Honda has launched two new colours of its best selling gearless scooter – Honda Activa. The model is now also available in Orchid Blue and Armour Gold colours. The model is already available in Candy Lucid Red, Pearl Sunbeam White, Geny Grey Metallic, and Black. Customers can hence now choose from six different shades. Initially two more colours – Wild Purple Metallic, Space Silver Metallic were also available but now these have been subsequently stopped.
The refurbished model of Honda Activa was launched in March 2009 when the company introduced a completely refreshed style of its best selling model which became the new benchmark in terms of being the most preferred family scooter in India. The model is fitted with 110cc engine that delivers 15 percent more efficiency than its predecessors. Honda claims an average mileage between 45-50 kmpl. It is powered by 4-stroke petrol engine and has a fuel tank capacity of six litres. The model is available as Standard and Deluxe model with a base price starting at Rs. 39,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
