Hindustan Motors Limited (HM), the maker of iconic Ambassador, has introduced a new futuristic showroom of Mitsubishi in Mangalore, which has taken the number of its official dealerships to 40 in the country.
The new facility of Mitsubishi has been named as M/s Shreenidhi Automobiles whose inauguration was done in the presence of P Vijayan, Chief Operating Officer and Strategic Business Unit Head of HM’s Chennai manufacturing unit. Sharing the limelight of event, the Head of Marketing and Channel Development, Yoshiaki Wada also marked attendance with Vijayan.
Interestingly, Shreenidhi Automobiles is the company's authorised service unit since December 2008 and now it has been transformed into a complete 3S (Sales, Service, Spares) facility. The move was taken by considering the performance and increasing demand for Mitsubishi models in the Indian auto market.
Expressing his views in the ceremony, Vijayan quoted, “Mitsubishi’s SUVs have a legendary and unmatched pedigree. Vehicles like Montero, Pajero Sport and Outlander need no introduction not just in India but even around the globe. Pajero holds the record of 13 consecutive victories in Dakar Rally – one of the most difficult inter-continental automobile racing contests. No terrain is forbidden territory for Mitsubishi’s robust SUVs. While these vehicles are maestros of off-road driving, they are, at the same time, more than a match for the best sedans when it comes to traversing city roads and lanes. Their state-of-the-art designing and manufacturing as per the highest Japanese standards make them the best choice for customers.”
He further added, “So whether it be the great outdoors with its sandy, slushy, rocky, icy, hilly landscape, or the urban world with its congested and clogged traffic, Mitsubishi SUVs have proven their mettle in both scenarios. Ruggedness and comfort have never been so easily available as one will find them in our SUVs. If you allow me to quote a popular advertising tagline of past years, then I will assert that Mitsubishi SUVs are indeed the neighbour’s envy and the owner’s pride.”
M/s Shreenidhi Automobiles is controlled and owned by three individuals, Sampath Kumar Jain, Harishchandra and Prasanna Kumar. All these individuals boast off a vast experience in the auto business and have spent a long time in the industry. Sprawling over an area of 2000 square feet, the new dealership of company is located at Prem Rose Complex, Mary Hill, which is one of the region's prime locations. Besides, the dealership has a service workshop in 7000 square feet, which is based at Padukodi Village in Kuloor. The workshop can easily service 15 models a day as it comprises seven bays and a paint boot.
