Several images of the Hero Xtreme Sports have been coming on the internet, explaining the structure and looks of the vehicle, which has a displacement of 150 cc. Now, according to a report by Motorbeam, speculations are rife that the Xtreme Sports is going to be launched at price in excess of INR 70000 and more expensive than the standard version.
The new model has been introduced with a new cowl below the engine and another on the fuel tank. This policy has been applied in other Hero models and in addition, new decals along with colour schemes will be provided in the Xtreme Sports. A new instrument cluster has been offered in this model.
In terms of mechanics, the same 149.2 cc engine is going to be used in Hero Xtreme Sports although some reports claim that the output is going to be increased from 14.2 BHP to 15.2 BHP. Torque level and transmission are going to remain same in this bike.
The model was showcased for the first time at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo but it was dispatched to showrooms only in recent months. Though the manufacturer has not said anything about this entire issue, reports claim that the launch of Hero Xtreme Sports is imminent. Experts claim that the manufacturer is going to go the same way it launched the Karizma and Splendor Pro Classic bikes.
