Hero MotoCorp, the country's largest two-wheeler maker, is gearing up to launch its new 110 cc motorcycle called 'Passion X-Pro' in the Indian bike market by November 2012. The company unveiled its three brand new bikes at the 11th Annual Auto Expo held in New Delhi in January 2012, comprising the 125 cc Hero Ignitor, 110 cc Passion X-Pro motorcycles and the new 110 cc Maestro scooter. The Indian bike enthusiasts will have to shell out around Rs. 47,000, in order to get the 2012 Passion X-Pro commuter motorcycle in their garage.

The domestic market has already witnessed the launches of the Maestro scooter and the Ignitor bike, which were introduced amidst huge fan fare. The Indian festival is just round the corner and thus, industry experts are positive that Hero MotoCorp could launch the new 110 cc Passion X-Pro any time soon in the market.

Currently, the Hero MotoCorp is running behind on its estimated sales for the year, besides the recent market gloom and dwindling demands of entry-level motorcycles among the Indian buyers, has only piled on miseries for the company. Hence, the top management of Hero MotoCorp has pinned great expectations from the upcoming 2012 Passion X-Pro bike, which carries the onus of being the next mass puller for the company.

The yet-to-be launched 2012 Hero MotoCorp Passion X-Pro motorcycle will be pitched directly against the likes of Honda Dream Yuga, Bajaj Discover, Suzuki Hayate 110 cc and the TVS Star City in the Indian bike market. Further, the upcoming Passion X-Pro is believed to prove convenient for the company, in order to expand its product portfolio in the domestic two-wheeler market, besides catering to a broader customer base in the country.

The 'World's No.1' two-wheeler manufacturer in terms of unit volume sales is betting high on the more than month long Indian festivities in October-November 2012, the period during which Hero MotoCorp's records its peak sales for the year. The launch of Passion X-Pro during the Diwali period is believed to propel the sales for the company, which has just been displaced of its top position by Bajaj Auto in terms of sales recorded in September 2012.
