      Hero MotoCorp to boost production capacity as demand rises

      In a bid to meet the high demand for their recently rolled-out scooter and bike line up, the country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp is gearing-up to boost production capacity in the Indian market.

      In a recent statement given to Autocar India, Anil Dua, Hero MotoCorp's Senior VP (Marketing & Sales), said, that the company is in the process of transition of all their models from the erstwhile joint brand to the Hero brand. The company has started this transition in April and will be completing this process of brand migration by the end of September.

      The recently launched models of the company including Impulse, Maestro and Ignitor have been receiving an overwhelming response from the Indian buyers. The company has raised the total production capacity of their Maestro model to 60,000 units per month. Besides this, the popular models like Super Splendor, Glamour and Glamour FI are receiving strong demand in the Indian market.

      Meanwhile, the company has market their debut in the Sri Lankan market and is now looking forward to start selling their bikes in the Nepal soon.
