The wait is over, or so it seems for fans of Hero motorcycles. Finally, Hero MotorCorp, the leading two-wheeler brand has started despatching of Splendor Pro Classic. However, the bike has not been officially launched by the brand yet. The first set of bikes was seen at the dealers’ stores, though the owner was not pretty sure of its price. According to the prices released on the internet, the Splendor Pro Classic has been tagged at 53900 INR. There has not been a confirmation from Hero MotoCorp officially as of now. However, it is estimated that the price will be around the same range.
The new Splendor Pro Classic has been developed on the platform of Splendor; however it has been designed to look like a café traditional racer motorbike. A new handle bar has been installed on the bike to update the style quotient of the bike. Apart from this thing, new additions that have been installed on the bike include are a round headlamp, café racer styled fuel tank and a tail lamp. The silencer, front and rear fenders, headlamp ring, suspensions and the rear view mirrors have been designed in chrome.
Splendor Pro Classic has been provided with the popular 97.2 cc mono-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing a maximum power of 7.7 bhp and 8.4 Nm of maximum torque via a four-speed gearbox. It is clearly seen that the Splendor Pro Classic has drawn some inspiration from Royal Enfield Continental GT café racer. However, Hero is known to keep the price within the range, so it is great for budget buyers.
