Hennessey, the American tuner, set out to build the world’s fastest road car when the Bugatti Veyron made a grand entry into the world of automobiles. Now, just after the latest Bugatti, the Chiron has made its debut, Hennessey has renewed its claim for the fastest car tag with the all-new F5.
The Venom F5 has just been teased with a ‘300’ speed limit sign in the background which points to a top speed of 300mph which inches towards 500kmph. Hennessey has released a teaser video of the road rocket giving us a glimpse of what has gone into building probably the first ever road car to break the 500kmph barrier. Built with state-of-the-art aerodynamics and technology, the Venom 5 will challenge the exclusive Bugatti Chiron, the Veyron's successor.
Powered by a V8 petrol engine boosted by massive turbochargers, the Hennessey Venom 5 will be unveiled on 1 November at SEMA, America's home for tuners, aftermarket part manufacturers and superfast cars.
