The legendary, Aston Martin, unveiled the concept of all new electric DBX Crossover during the Geneva Motor Show a couple of days back. Aston Martin has always been bringing something new to the market, and this time, it is back with ways of saving the environment and taking a step against Global Warming.

The authorities at Aston Martin have a say that this concept was launched in order to challenge the regular thought that luxury cars cannot be environment-friendly. Aston Martin hopes that this car reaches masses beyond its launch.

Sources at Aston Martin clarified that the DBX would not be a production unit, but will be representing what the customers can expect in the near future. The CEO at the car manufacturing company says that soon there will be a car that will take the place of the DBX concept.

It is evident that a lot of efforts have been put in the making of this concept vehicle. The exterior of the monster is made of bright machined aluminium and is painted with a thick coat of black pearl chromium. This adds up to the aesthetics of the vehicle and makes it a view to watch. The paint has been specially customized for this vehicle so that it showcases reflection, which cannot easily be obtained by the normal paints used on cars. Apart from this, the car is equipped with some high-quality Nubuck leather, adding up to the overall design of the vehicle.

If we talk about the powertrain of the vehicle, it gets its power from DBX concept electric motors powered by the latest Lithium Sulphur Cells, this being the main USP of the concept variant. Other than this, various luxurious features like Active LED Exterior Lights, KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), Carbon Ceramic Brakes, and Rear-View Cameras are installed in this vehicle making it unique in the class. Drive-by-Wire Steering Technology along with toughened glasses that dim automatically have also been installed.
