Japanese automaker Nissan thrilled auto enthusiasts as the Geneva Motor Show by unveiling the premium new limited edition of the all-new Micra. The vehicle gets the Bose Personal Edition which is based on the range topping Tekna grade. The vehicle gets a number of extras and personalisation features as standard. The premium special edition model is limited to 3,000 units and will be available across Europe.
The Micra premium edition marks Nissan’s collaboration with Bose, premium audio partner on the all-new Micra. Unique to the Micra Personal sound system, it gets twin BOSE UltraNearfield speakers built into the driver’s seat head rest. This innovative design, combined with BOSE signal processing, provides a spacious and immersive 360 degree listening experience for the driver. The Bose PersonalSpace Control feature offers personalised sound to suit the driver’s tastes. It provides an adjustable range of options, from a precise and front-focused sound to a much wider and enveloping experience.
The Nissan Micra Bose personal edition is available in two vibrant shades of - Enigma Black or Gunmetal Grey. Both the cars are enhanced with energy orange elements from the Micra’s personalisation program. Stylish orange finishers feature on the front and rear bumper, doors, door mirrors and 17-inch alloy wheels which is factory fitted in Flins, France and guarantees a high-quality finish. Additionally, it gets full LED headlamps, Bose Personal badging on the Micra’s B-pillars and high-quality anodised black and orange stickers on the roof and bonnet.
Inside, it gets soft-touch, double-stitched Energy Orange material that has been used to enhance the look of the dashboard and gear surround, while there’s matching detailing on the seats, floor mats and door sills. The vehicle also gets NissanConnect infotainment system with DAB digital radio and satellite navigation, Nissan Intelligent Key and an arm rest between the front seats.
As for safety, it gets Safety Pack as standard, which includes Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Recognition, Traffic Sign Recognition and High Beam Assist. Intelligent Lane Intervention – a technology which smoothly guides the car back to the centre of a lane, is also fitted. The optional feature list includes Intelligent Around View Monitor - Nissan’s innovative parking camera system – plus idle stop and start, heated front seats and a spare wheel.
