      General Motors India introduces myChevrolet application

      General Motors India has gone ahead to enhance the experience of its customers by launching a smart mobile owner application called 'myChevrolet India'. This all-new application will assist customers post the vehicle purchase and will be available for free of cost for GM India customers only. Rajesh Singh, Vice President Sales, Marketing and After-Sales, GM India, said, “GM India goes the extra mile to enhance its customer experience. We have developed ‘myChevrolet India App’ mobile app to provide features that give real- time benefits to the customer and provides a one stop shop. We feel the application will allow them to experience GM India services in an exciting new digital platform. This is another step in leveraging the potential of mobile technology to offer convenience and value to our customers.” GM India customers can easily download this multifaceted ‘myChevrolet India App’ application from Google Play Store and Apple App store.

      This new application will work on Android and iOS platforms. Using this application, customers will have easy access to different Chevrolet services. As such, owners can contact the company, access vehicle information and also schedule a service. Interestingly, this is not an all-inclusive list as customers have other things in store too. In a nutshell, 'myChevrolet India' application is easy to use and will enhance customer experience in many different ways.

      This newly launched smartphone application will allow customers to check dealer information and also schedule a service appointment. While travelling, customers can easily check the nearest dealer and call for a contract in a flash with the help of touch-to-call feature. This application allows storing the parking location information. Customers can simply take photos and notes for capturing parking details. One can also access owner's manual to know more about various features of this application.

      Besides this unique application, there are other programmes that have been introduced by GM India to further boost the Chevrolet ownership experience. These programmes include unmatched product warranty of 3 years/100000 km, Chevrolet U-First free service camps and Chevrolet promise cost of ownership programme. GM India is not the first auto maker that has introduced such a mobile application for its customers. Earlier, Volvo Car Corporation introduced 'Volvo On Call' while Hyundai introduced 'Hyundai Care' for its loyal owners.
