      General Motors conclude its Free Mega Service Camp in Northern region

      General Motors, the well-known American auto maker, has concluded its Free Mega Sales and Service Camp under which the company offered an array of services under one roof in several cities like Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand. The camp was organised between November 30 and December 2 at various locations between 10 am and 6 pm.

      Along with Free Service Check-up, the other services offered include easy loans, test drives, buy and exchange of cars, free oil top-ups, Snack Bars and kid's section. Besides, facilities like discount of 10 per cent on labour, 5 per cent on spare parts and 25 per cent on car care products were also offered during the camp.

      Expressing his views on this move, the Vice President of GM India, P. Balendran, quoted, “At Chevrolet we are committed to providing customer satisfaction, and after sales service is an integral part of it. With such initiatives, we try to reach out to our customers and extend our Chevrolet Promise which is an epitome of customer service in the Indian market. We have been conducting similar free service camps at regular intervals to take care of our customers at their door steps. Apart from closely tracking evolving customer preferences and prevailing trends, we have now decided to take a step further and communicate Chevrolet’s ‘service accessibility’ and low maintenance costs to present as well as prospective customers through the Free Mega Service Camp.”

      Being an active participant in the Mega Service Camp, this initiative marked the attendance of several vendors like Apollo Tyres, JK Tyre, Elf, 3M and Exide, among others. Moreover the auto maker also organised several fun and frolic activities ensuring a complete entertainment of customers' family, like painting competition for kids, tattoos for kids, mehandi for ladies, tambola, balloon shooting and magic show, among others. Along with the customers of Chevrolet, the camp also witnessed the participation of several dealers and OEM partners.

      While concluding his statement, Balendran further added, “With Chevrolet’s entire range of cars on display, prospective customers will be best positioned to make an informed choice based on personal preferences and the multiple price points on offer. With the addition of our latest offering, Chevrolet SAIL U-VA, we are now offering a complete portfolio in the Indian market which has been accepted well in the market.”
