Innovation has been the new mantra for global automakers. Amidst all the competition and race to launch the first hi-tech car, Ford India has showcased its new concept car on 3rd February, 2014. As per sources the new car may be a launched in the hatchback segment.
A recent press release by Ford stated, “The concept (car) will showcase Ford's vision for the future in the competitive compact-car segment in India and other dynamic emerging markets". Unconfirmed images have been doing rounds over the Internet for a while now. Based on those images, the car looks sturdier and carries a bolder stance. Detailed specifications may be revealed at the launch event. Sources have anticipated that the new hatchback may probably replace the existing line of Figo hatchbacks, although no official statement has been released in this regard.
The concept car unveiled today in India, is showcased at a global level. The new compact concept car showcase, is a positive sign of American car-maker's determination of building a strong brand name for itself. As per sources, the new concept hatchback shall be showcased at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo event. Apart from the new concept car, Ford also plans to showcase the upgraded Endeavor along with their current line of hatchback and sedan in India.
