      Ford SYNC AppLink to now support more apps

      Ford India has issued a statement that their SYNC AppLink can now link to five new apps. The new features include streaming music, to exploring a new city or real-time weather to live news updates.

      The new apps which have been added to the SYNC AppLink catalogue include renowned music streaming service provider Hungama, news aggregator InShorts, weather forecast services provider AccuWeather, and parking locating app PParkE. In addition to these, MapMyIndia has updated its SYNC AppLink-enabled app features to now incorporate new voice and textual directions to a destination of choice.       The new and updated compatible apps seamlessly link to Ford vehicles to let users stay connected while on the go. SYNC AppLink now allows drivers to access and control compatible smartphone apps through voice commands or the vehicle’s touch screen.
