The 2018 Ford Mustang was recently spotted wearing the acclaimed ‘Black Accent Package’. What sets this iteration apart from the others are the ‘black’ extras that are visible in the spy shot we bring to you. The highlights of the package include the pitch-black pony badge on the front grille, the sleek black spoiler on the rear section, alloys with a black shade, a blacked-out roof and the almost invisible GT badge between the rear tail lights.
The prototype can also be seen proudly showing off the fender with a huge black ‘5.0’ badge on it. Reports claim that if the 2018 Ford Mustang order guide, which leaked some time ago, is any good, then the facelifted Mustang GT and EcoBoost are the models due to get the Black Accent Package.On a lighter note, Ford has always offered such packages on their Mustangs,which have been particularly popular with the market.
Ford’s facelifted 2018 Mustang is staged to hit the US market in September 2017 and win back some of the lost sales from its rival, the Dodge Challenger. Armed with this black theme, we believe Ford may just about have an upper hand. Stay tuned.
