Ford has taken the covers off a new limited-run variant of the Ranger pickup. The latter, which is similar to the Endeavour sold here in India, will make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month.
Labelled the Black Edition, this new addition to the Ranger line-up offers a colour-coded appearance over the standard vehicle. In fact, it features a de-chromed body in black with a black finish for the radiator grille, alloy wheels, sports bar and exterior detailing. The production run will be restricted to 2,500 units and will be offered in double cab body style only.
Inside, you get GPS navigation, front parking sensors and rear view camera, in addition to features such as Ford SYNC 3 multimedia system with 8-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, leather seat trim, and power-folding door mirrors.
The Ford Ranger competes against other pickup models like the Isuzu D-Max, Toyota Hilux and Nissan Navara in Europe.
