Ford India will launch the Mustang tomorrow at an event in Delhi. It is one of their most exciting and iconic muscle cars that will go on sale in our country tomorrow.
The Mustang, for the Indian market, is expected to be powered by a 5.0-litre, V8 petrol engine that belts out 437bhp of power. This mill comes paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. For the ease of driving on Indian roads, the right-hand drive model will be launched.
In terms of aesthetics, the Mustang is a true muscle car and the latest iteration gets updates in celebration of 50 years of the legendary Mustang. Up front, there is a chrome-outlined hexagonal grille, HID headlamps with tri-slat LED DRLs, round fog lamps and a front splitter. The car rides on five-spoke alloys with a split pattern. The aggressive look is emphasised due to the muscular wheel arches, side skirts and a prominent shoulder line. The rear sports tri-slat LED tail lamps and the sloping roofline ends into a diffuser. The cabin comes equipped with all the equipment available globally.
The Ford Mustang will be directly imported to India and will be offered as the top-spec variant. Availability through the CBU route means it will be slotted in the Rs 50-55 lakh price range (ex-showroom New Delhi). Mustang fans and enthusiasts will finally get to see the most awaited car on Indian streets soon.
