Ford launched the new Fiesta SXI model in India yesterday. The company introduced the new model with more sophisticated features to boost sales in India. The new Ford Fiesta SXI model carries chrome and silver finish along with brand new chrome faced and crystal barrel headlamps. It is powered with 1.6L Duratec petrol engine and 1.4L Duratorq diesel engine. In addition, the company provides a two year/1,00,000 kms warranty and an option to purchase 'Extended Warranty' covering the car against electrical and mechanical failures for an additional period.
“The new Fiesta SXI will make a statement with its premium new style persona. Based on our customer feedback, the new Fiesta SXI has been introduced to appeal to the young, suave and style-oriented professionals who want their cars to reflect their individual personality, signifying success, confidence and accomplishments,” stated the company statement.
The higher end version of the car comes with a price tag of Rs. 6.99 lakhs (petrol) and Rs. 7.99 lakhs (diesel) (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). It will available at all dealership pan-India from August 03, 2009. Both engines are fuel efficient and produce class-leading performance.
