      Ford launches 'Figo - What a deal' scheme in Nepal

      American car-maker Ford has been quite popular on global automotive charts owing to its interesting fleet of cars across diverse segments. To spread on its popularity in the Nepal automobile market the company has come up with a new interesting scheme through 'Go Automobiles' dealer, named 'Figo - What a deal'. The offer is open to the buyers of Ford Figo hatchback across all its variants.

      The winning prices include - Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung 40-inch full HD LED TV, Samsung Double Door Refrigerator, KTM Duke bike, Dell Oak Value touch-screen laptop and Samsung Front Loading washing machine. All a customer is expected to do is roll a dice and the number that reflects between 1 to 6 shall be considered to hand over the prices accordingly. As per company statement, “The number that a customer gets upon rolling of the dice will determine the gift s/he will get.”

      The 2014 edition of Ford Figo that is launched in India recently comes with in-car connectivity feature, commonly known as Wi-Fi. The feature is available under a 'Special Value Pack' offer by the company that can be availed at an additional cost of Rs. 9,790. The additional cost covers charges for a dongle, color coordinated seat covers and LED interior lighting. As per sources, the company has also introduced a new shade called "Mars Red" to its existing line up colors available on this particular version. The 2014 car shall be available in EXi, ZXi and Titanium versions. The company aims at selling this car through an interesting campaign known as “Smart is the New Cool” theme.

      The new Ford Figo has retained 1.2 Litre petrol and 1.4 Litre diesel engine. The petrol version generates about 71 Ps of power with 102 Nm of torque, whereas the diesel version generates about 16 Ps of power with 160 Nm of torque. As per ARAI test results the petrol version delivers a fuel efficiency of around 15.33 kmpl, whereas the diesel version delivers around 19.99 kmpl.
