Ford India has been working on building a strong brand presence in the Indian market. Apart from a strong fleet on technologically advanced cars, Ford had also stated that they would bring genuine parts in the open market. As a token of appreciation to the teaching faculty in the country, Ford India has offered discount of about Rs. 16,500 on certain Classic sedan variants, whereas discounts of up to Rs. 9,000 on selected Figo variants are on offer.
The Teacher's day offer from Ford India can be availed across 304 sales and service facilities located across 164 cities in the country. Apart from the special teacher's day offer, interested buyers shall also avail ongoing benefits like Free extended warranty, Exchange bonus and free insurance on the Figo hatchback and Classic sedan.
Interested buyers can avail further details on the offer by sending an SMS “FBC FDS” to 56263. Alternatively, they can also drop an email to FBCindia@ford.com. Ford has also stated that it may achieve 95% automation in Sanand plant by 2015. Moreover, Ford India may undertake mass scale production of vehicles at its new manufacturing plant in Sanand, Gujarat sometime in early 2015. As per reports, the production may begin at an mammoth cost of about Rs. 4500 crore.
