      Ford Figo mild facelift launched ahead of festive season

      Just ahead of beginning of festivities in India, Ford sprang surprise by rolling out a mildly modified variant of its popular B segment hatchback, Figo. Priced at Rs 3.87 for the base petrol variant and at Rs 4.83 lakh for the base diesel model, Figo facelift has received a handful of tweaks on the exterior and interior front. The slightly refreshed Figo facelift gets 14 inch alloy wheels, fog lamp bezels and rear bumper valance. Other than these the hatchback now comes with a chrome signature fender badge and turn indicators on power mirrors giving a modish appeal to the vehicle.

      Cabin modifications include a special cyber blue trim reflected on the seat fabrics flaunting two-tone color scheme, centre stack and door pull handles reflect kinetic blue titanium shade. Other styling changes bestowed inside the cabin comprise of new two toned seat fabrics in cyber blue and two-layer satin aluminium finish centre stack, inner door handles and door pull caps.

      Ford Figo facelift will be available for sale across authorized Ford dealerships in eight color options including Kinetic Blue, Mars Red, Diamond White, Moondust Silver, Chill Metallic, Panther Black, Smoke Grey and Paprika Red.

      The mild facelift of Figo is aimed at the prospective buyers that tend to buy new cars during the festive season. Though a thoroughly revised version of Figo hatchback is underway and will be launched in India in the beginning of 2015, until then the latest version will act as a buffer. Moreover, 2015 Figo will be one of the first vehicles from the clan of Ford India to be produced at its upcoming manufacturing unit in Sanand, Gujarat.
