Back in September 2016, except for the base Endeavour Trend variant, Ford had dropped prices of other Endeavour Trend variants up to Rs 2.82 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The drop in prices was believed to be the company’s effort to boost its sales during the festive season. This time around Ford has hiked prices in couple of Trend and Titanium Endeavour variants in the country.
Post revision in prices, the Endeavour 2.2 4X4 MT Trend variant gets the biggest hike of Rs 2.85 lakh as the variant is now priced at Rs 26.63 lakh as against the older price of Rs 23.78 lakh. The 2.2 4X2 AT Titanium variant is now priced at Rs 27.93 lakh as against the older price of Rs 27.50 lakh, thereby witnessing a hike of Rs 43,000. The 3.2 4X4 AT Trend variant gets expensive by Rs 1.75 lakh as it is now priced at Rs 27.68 lakh as against the older price of Rs 25.93 lakh. The top-spec 3.2 4X4 AT Titanium variant is now available at Rs 30.89 lakh as against the older price of Rs 29.76 lakh, thereby witnessing a hike of Rs 1.13 lakh. All the prices mentioned above are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The Endeavour from Ford is available in two diesel engine options - a 2.2-litre engine which generates 158bhp and 385Nm of torque, and a 3.2-litre diesel that churns out 197bhp and 470Nm of torque. The smaller engine is available in six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission options, while the bigger 3.2-litre engine only comes mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
