Ford India Private Limited (FIPL), a completely owned subsidiary of American multinational auto major Ford, has launched a new television and radio commercial, along with social media Urban Discovery campaign for building a pre-launch hype for its upcoming EcoSport model. The company is working round-the-clock to make sure it’s much awaited compact Sports Utility Vehicle gets its share of a thunderous reception, upon its arrival on Indian turf. The Ford EcoSport is arguably one of the most eagerly awaited new model launches for 2013 calendar year in the country.
As per Ford's EcoSport Urban Discoveries initiative, 35 participants will be provided with the compact SUV to explore their cities with two friends, before the model's official Indian launch. The 35 participants are required to capture their experience on camera with the best one among them getting a brand new Ford EcoSport as the grand prize.
For the voice being EcoSport's television and radio commercial campaigns, Ford India has roped in popular Radio Jockey (RJ) Mantra. The television advertisement is soon going to be aired on all major news and general entertainment channels. The American auto major has also planned intensive road shows and special promotional campaigns for its upcoming EcoSport compact SUV in some 12 Indian cities including New Delhi and Mumbai.
The yet-to-be launched Ford EcoSport is expected to see Indian daylight with introductory price tags around Rs. 9 to 10 lakhs in the Indian auto market. The compact SUV is going to be powered with the critically acclaimed 1.0 litre Ford EcoBoost powertrain under its hood, which could churn out a peak power of 120 bhp. Evidently, taking into account the company's extensive advertising campaigns for its EcoSport model, the compact SUV could might e just days away from its launch on Indian turf.
