Force Motors, the new automaker in the country, is all set to launch its much awaited Sports Utility Vehicle – Force One – in the country on Friday. The company has already established a dealership network of 18 dealers across the country, so that the SUV can reach more and more Indian buyers.
Initially the company is concentrating on North, West and South Indian markets and all of its dealerships have been located in these three regions. Surprisingly, the company hasn’t opened a single dealership in the eastern region of the country.
The Force One SUV will come powered by a 2.2 Liter common rail turbo diesel engine that has been sourced from Daimler. The powerful engine of the car is capable of delivering a peak power of 140 bhp along with a peak torque of 350 Nm. The upcoming SUV is claimed to be delivering a power-packed performance, thanks to its rugged engine and a range of performance enhancing features.
Though the company is yet to reveal the pricing details of the SUV, it is widely speculated to be priced above Rs 10 lakh segment where it will be competing with the likes of Mahindra Scorpio, Skoda Yeti, Tata Safari, Toyota Innova and Tata Aria.
