      Force Motors to introduce two new variants of Force One SUV and a brand new MPV in 2013

      Force Motors, the Pune based Utility Vehicle (UV) and Commercial Vehicle(CV) maker, will introduce two new models of its Force One Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in the Indian market by early 2013. Further, the company has also revealed its sales target concerning Force One SUV to be around 5,000 units for the next financial year. Evidently, Force Motors has the Force One SUV as its sole product offering in passenger vehicle sector of the Indian auto market.

      Informing about the upcoming launch, Naresh Kumar Rattan, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Force Motors, said, “We will be launching two more variants of Force One sometime between January and February next year. One would be a higher version than the present model, while the second would be lower variant.”

      Renowned as a sturdy and Indian audience oriented auto maker, Force Motors has affirmed to introduce a Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) in the domestic market, somewhere in the next financial year. Reportedly, the sales of Force One Motors have not been much impressive in the country, since its launch in 2011 and the company could manage to sell only 2,000 units as compared to 4,000 units estimated.

      Commenting on the present production of Force One SUV, Rattan said, “We have a capacity to produce 500 units but currently producing only 150 units a month. With addition of two variants in 2013, the company aims to sell around 5,000 units of the SUV in 2013-14 fiscal.”
